The story is told through several points of view so we get to see more of the actions and motivations of the characters. I loved the development and growth of Mirana as she struggles to understand and use her gifts as a Trine. Having been gifted all three aspects is unusual and the training and guidance she receives from Tetric is an intriguing part of the story as is her relationship with her childhood friend/boyfriend Teague.
The book ends with an impressive cliffhanger and I'm looking forward to continuing the journey with these characters and seeing the direction the author takes in the next book.*
